Chinese  - Students with previous experience in Chinese who are not in the CLIP program at Miller were instructed to sign up for Chinese course number 4420 and come to CHS on 3/21 to take the placement exam. These students can register using the form on our website but if they signed up for 4420, they do not have to register to take the test (Chinese only).

Students with no previous experience in Chinese were to sign up for Level 1, 4410, and they WILL NOT take a placement test. Students in the CLIP program at Miller were instructed to register for 4430 and they will take the placement test in the CLIP program at Miller.

Currently in Language Class:  Hyde / Lawson / McAuliffe

Students at our feeder middle schools, currently in the language at that school, do not have to take the placement test. Students taking a language at a middle school other than HMS or LMS should have their current middle school language teacher email Yukari Salazar, CHS World Language Department Chair, with their placement recommendation.
