Meet Coach Crawford

Coach Crawford

My name is Mrs. Rachel Crawford, and I teach Voices of Modern Culture and Literature/Writing here at Cupertino High School.  I attended San Jose State University on a diving scholarship where I earned my BA in English.  After graduating, I attended Chapman University and received my Single Subject Teaching Credential in English.  For the last few years, I taught 9th, 10th, and 12th grade English in Vacaville, and I coached the diving team as well.  I was a cheerleader for six years (through both junior high and high school), and I was captain for three of those years.  I always loved sports and rooting on the athletes and there is no better way to do that than to be part of the cheer team.

This is my first year teaching at CHS, and I love every minute of it!  Teaching and coaching are two of my passions, and I look forward to working with the CHS Cheer Squad next year and in the years to come!
