Attention Seniors: 

 

Have you volunteered in your community this year? If so, the Fremont Union High School District Board of Trustees awards a medal for community service to seniors who have accrued 80 hours or more of service to the community.

 

Students who earn the medal will have it presented to them by a Board member during the Senior Awards Ceremony on May 26th, 2016.

Completed forms are due to Ms. Arranaga in the College and Career Center no later than Monday, May 2nd, 2016.

Attention Tino!

 

Kaiser invites you to apply to their 2016 KP Launch Internship!

 

The internship program will provide students the opportunity to work full-time for eight weeks over the summer. While working, interns gain exposure to various health careers that they may choose to pursue after high school graduation.

 

Interns will have the opportunity to:

  • Work full-time within various Kaiser Permanente departments for eight weeks
  • Learn about a variety of different health career opportunities
  • Meet and learn from health professionals and their internship program peers
  • Gain professional and personal development through education days

Attention College Bound Juniors!

 

Do you want to get a head start on the college application process?

If so, now is the time to sign up for the College Planning Workshops offered by FUHSD, in partnership with the City of Cupertino!  

 

There will be a session running at Cupertino High on Wednesdays after school from Wednesday, March 9 through Wednesday, April 6 (5 sessions from 3:30pm to 5:30pm).  

 

There are also sessions on other campuses on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

 

To register, download the attached registration form and mail or bring it to the Quinlan Center in Cupertino.  These popular classes will sell out, so make sure to register by Thursday, February 11, to have the best chance at getting the class of your choice.  

 

The cost for the course is $130, but many financial-need based scholarships are available (see attached application.)

Guidance Counselors will be registering all current CHS students from February through March. 

We thank you in advance for your understanding that we will not be able to schedule individual appointments during this busy time

 

Please attend the designated grade-level parent nights and have students actively ask questions during the in-class presentations and during their one-on-one registration meeting with a Guidance Counselor.
